Volunteer Opportunity: Make a Difference at Our New Bereavement Wellbeing Centre in Grantham

Are you passionate about helping others? Our new bereavement group, "Growing Around Grief", part of the National Grief Advice Service, is looking for volunteers to join us in supporting individuals and families on their journey through grief.

We will be hosting Bereavement Groups for all ages throughout the week and special family-focused sessions on Saturday mornings, designed for children and young adults experiencing loss.

As a volunteer, you’ll play a vital role in creating a safe, welcoming space where people can heal and grow. Whether you can help by making a cup of tea, facilitating activities, or simply offering a listening ear, your time and support will make a real difference.

A group of people are putting their hands together in a circle.

What we offer:

  • A chance to provide meaningful support to those navigating grief

  • Activities like crafts, practical advice, friendship building, and group outings

  • Special Saturday family sessions tailored for younger participants

What we’re looking for:

  • Compassionate, reliable individuals who can spare a few hours a week

  • Volunteers to assist with group activities, day-to-day running, and general support

If you have time to give and a heart to help, we’d love to hear from you. Whether you’re comfortable leading a session or simply helping in the background, there’s a place for you here.

How to apply:

Please fill out your details, and our team will get in touch to discuss how you can contribute. Together, we can support those who need it most and help them on their healing journey.

Thank you for considering being part of this important mission.
