Founder
I’m Matt Wainwright, the founder of NGAS. Having worked in the industry for many years, I found that there was uncertainty with members of the public about what steps to take in the event of someone passing away. My vision is to provide a service which offers advice and practical support, from the moment someone passes away, through the legal and financial implications and on to emotional support often needed when someone has passed away. Having worked as a police officer for many years, I am well aware of difficult situations that people often have to face throughout life and want this service to be of benefit to people in need of help.
Client Care Assistant Manager
I’m Paula, I am the Assistant Manager of Client Care. My main role is to maintain links with partners who feature on the website and find new partnerships for NGAS. I am a Case Worker too. I worked in the NHS for 23 years as a Health Care support worker. I worked on the admissions ward and in various departments. This background has gave me a passion to support and care for others.
Case Worker
I’m Korinda, I am a Mental Health First Aider and a case worker. My role is to provide a listening ear to clients who call in for advice and support. I can signpost them to different services provided by the NHS, charities and other professionals we work with. After many years as a primary school teacher, I took early retirement but soon found that I missed being around people and also applying those little grey cells! This role appeals to me since I have always enjoyed the nurturing aspect of teaching and being able to help others is really important to me.

I’m Abi and I’m the Head of the Care Team for NGAS. As well as providing support to clients as a Case Worker, my role is to support our Case Team in their roles and to establish and maintain links with partners who feature on the website. I am also a qualified Mental Health First Aider and regularly host the Virtual Friday Coffee Morning. I have a degree in childcare which I worked in for 6 years before my current role. My previous role made me want to help and support others where I can.
