What to do when someone dies hospital:
In this case, the hospital staff will explain to you what steps you need to take.
In some circumstances, you may be asked about organ donation. The deceased may have had a donor card or made reference to their wishes in their Will.
A doctor who was involved in the deceased’s treatment will issue the medical certificate and formal notice.
You will need to contact your chosen funeral director to come and collect the deceased and remove them to the funeral home.
